New Features and Improvements

• Prevent Unintended Test Participation

  • We've tightened up how tests involve participants. Visitors who should not have been included in a test will remain excluded on all pages, ensuring more accurate visitor and conversion counts. This means your data might show fewer participants and conversions, reflecting a more precise audience. If your test includes everyone, you won't see any changes.

• Accurate Conversion Counting for Page-Linked Goals

  • We're improving how we track conversions triggered by clicks, especially when those clicks also change page addresses. This update ensures conversions are counted accurately, which may increase the reported conversion counts for certain goals. Past data remains unchanged, so you'll see a clear difference from this update onward.

• Unique Conversion Counting Per Visitor

  • Now, each visitor will only be counted once per goal, preventing double counting of conversions when a visitor returns and triggers the same goal again. As a result, your conversion numbers might decrease a bit, bringing them in line with intended tracking methods. The change won't affect past data, so you'll notice the difference moving forward.

Remember, there's nothing you need to do on your end—everything continues to run smoothly without any required adjustments to your tests, goals, or setup.
